Following the announcement of the special concert by The Script in Timișoara, a new wave of artists rounds out the musical lineup for the 2026 edition of Timișoara Day | Timișoara City Celebration. Irina Rimes, Satoshi, and Dora Gaitanovici will join the lineup for the evening of Saturday, August 1, on the main stage located on I.C. Brătianu Boulevard. The event’s musical program will also feature concerts by Alexandra Căpitănescu and JazzyBIT & K-lu, who will take the stage on Friday, July 31, 2026.

From international artists and some of the biggest names on the Romanian music scene to artists representing local creativity, we want this celebration to reflect Timișoara’s diversity and energy.”
Taking the stage on I.C. Brătianu Boulevard will be Irina Rimes, one of the most acclaimed artists in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, known for her authentic musical style and numerous hit songs. With millions of fans and a career that has redefined Romanian pop music over the past decade, Irina Rimes is one of the most influential figures on the contemporary music scene.
The audience will also get to see Satoshi, one of the most interesting artists of the new generation in the Republic of Moldova, at Timișoara City Celebration. By combining pop, hip-hop, and alternative influences into an original and highly personal artistic style, the artist has become one of the most acclaimed voices on the music scene in the Republic of Moldova and Romania.
The program for the evening of August 1 will be rounded out by Dora Gaitanovici. Originally from Timișoara, Dora Gaitanovici is a composer, pianist, and one of the most distinctive voices on the new Romanian music scene. The artist blends alternative, rock, and electronic influences into an original soundscape built around a strong artistic identity.
On Friday, July 31, the audience will have the chance to hear Alexandra Căpitănescu, one of Romania’s most acclaimed young artists. After winning Season 10 of *The Voice of Romania*, Alexandra cemented her status as an artist of the new generation by participating in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, where she represented Romania and placed third in the final standings. Known for her exceptional vocal talents, sensitive performances, and mature stage presence, Alexandra Căpitănescu brings to Timișoara a concert that promises emotion, energy, and an authentic connection with the audience.
Also on the first night of the event, JazzyBIT & K-lu will take the stage. As representatives of Timișoara’s music scene, the artists present a fusion of contemporary jazz, groove, improvisation, and urban influences in a performance that reflects the city’s creative spirit and cultural diversity.
The 2026 edition of the Timișoara City Celebration event will take place from July 31 to August 3. The theme of this edition, “Diversity,” invites participants to celebrate the communities, urban experiences, and perspectives that define Timișoara’s identity. Under the central message “One city. A thousand ways to experience it. Diversity,” the event offers a varied program that brings together music, heritage, gastronomy, art, sports, urban experiences, and creative communities. The program for this edition is currently being updated.
