Discover the story of the Bega River through a series of guided tours that bring together heritage, art, and the city's history. The tour begins at Vila Mal, where the Ecluze pe Bega exhibition explores the evolution of the Bega Navigation Canal, the region's hydraulic heritage, the role of water in the development of Timișoara, and the challenges posed by climate change. The route continues to the Sculpture Park along the Bega River, where participants will rediscover the artworks created during the 1984 National Sculpture Camp and learn how this area is being reimagined today as the future Cultural Port of Timișoara.

The ECLUZE Cultural Association is a nongovernmental organization founded in 2025, whose primary goal is to promote the built and natural heritage, green-blue corridors, and cultural landscapes located near the rivers in western Romania, in direct proximity to Serbia and Hungary. The association seeks to develop interdisciplinary cultural initiatives that investigate, document, and promote the role of water in shaping urban and regional identity.
