To celebrate Timișoara City Celebration and the public opening of the Iosefin Water Tower, we invite you to join the Iosefin Walking Tour.
Discover some of the district's most iconic landmarks, from the Iron Bridge to the Iosefin Water Tower and Iosefin Square. Along the way, you'll learn how the neighbourhood evolved from a small suburb founded in 1744 by Swabian settlers into one of Timișoara's most important districts, complete with a port, railway station, tram network, factories and elegant palaces built around the turn of the 20th century.
While many of the factories have disappeared or found new purposes, the magnificent palaces remain, continuing to captivate visitors with their architecture and the stories of the people who once lived there.
At the end of the tour, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Iosefin Water Tower.
