Skateboarding, BMX, and Scooters on Nicolae Titulescu Boulevard
AnonimTM is joining the Timișoara City Celebration 2026 program and transforming Nicolae Titulescu Boulevard (Uszoda Area) into a space dedicated to urban culture, wheeled sports, and electronic music. On August 1 and 2, the public is invited to two days of competitions, demonstrations, workshops, and DJ sets that bring together Timișoara’s skateboarding, BMX, and scooter communities.
Founded in 1998, AnonimTM is the oldest active DJ crew in Romania and one of the leading promoters of alternative urban culture in Timișoara. Over the years, it has launched the MADE in TM platform, Romania’s first online radio station—RADIO AnonimTM—and the country’s first open-air electronic music festival, 48H. Today, for the eleventh consecutive year, AnonimTM is organizing the “Evening Dance” event at D’arc pe Mal, coordinating the parties at Pelican, and continuing to support the development of the city’s creative communities. The program prepared for Timișoara Day combines sports competition, education, and urban culture in a format designed for both experienced participants and those who want to discover these disciplines for the first time.

Over the course of the two days, the atmosphere will be enhanced by DJ sets from AnonimTM, and participants will be able to take part in introductory skateboarding lessons and discussions focused on the future of the skatepark in Timișoara. Through this event, AnonimTM brings one of the most active communities in the local urban culture scene to Timișoara Day and creates a space where sports and music come together.
A key part of the program is the discussion focused on the future Timișoara Skatepark project, which brings together the designers, organizations involved in the development of urban sports—AnonimTM, Action Sports TM, Alternative TM, and OneMove—and the user community: skaters, BMX riders, inline skaters, and climbers. During the meeting, the current status of the technical design will be presented, along with an estimated timeline for the next phases. Additionally, the future users of the skatepark will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the proposed solutions, so that the project best meets the needs of the community that will use it.
Between July 31 and August 3, 2026, Timișoara City Celebration transforms the city into a grand celebration of community, culture, and urban experiences. The theme of this year’s edition is “Diversity,” and the central message—“One city. A thousand ways to experience it. Diversity.”—invites the public to discover Timișoara through different perspectives, communities, and experiences. In this context, the event continues to serve as a platform dedicated to promoting major festivals and cultural organizations that contribute to the city’s creative identity.
