As part of the City Celebration – Timișoara City Days program, Timișoara Jazz Festival invites audiences to a contemporary jazz recital in a venue renowned for its unique acoustics – St. Catherine's Church in the Cetate district. The concert offers an intimate and relaxing musical experience, providing a welcome respite in the church's cool atmosphere while bringing the city's architectural heritage into dialogue with the contemporary language of jazz. The recital continues the initiative that began in the previous edition.
The Banat Jazz Cultural Foundation organizes the Timișoara Jazz Festival, a project dedicated to promoting contemporary jazz and developing the music scene in Timișoara. Through the festival, concerts, and cultural projects held throughout the year, the foundation creates opportunities for Romanian and international artists to come together, encourages interdisciplinary dialogue, and helps strengthen the city’s cultural profile by bringing music to diverse venues and to as wide an audience as possible.
