GLIMPSES OF TIME invites participants not only to observe but to become as well an active part of the artistic creation. Visitors can move, dance or simply stand still in front of the installation. Their movements are captured and processed in real time using a slit scan algorithm, transforming a simple action into a complex and surreal artistic representation.
Bodies deform, colors stretch, time distorts, creating images that seem to exist simultaneously in multiple moments. Their own silhouettes will be transformed in an aesthetic way, causing them to reflect on the nature of their own existence and the passage of time or just having fun.
