Venus is a visual artist and dj, born and raised in Timișoara.
A vocal advocate for FLINTA artists and a challenger of traditional gender roles, she approaches art as a tool for self-expression and liberation.
With a sound rooted in the aesthetics of the 90s and a magnetic attraction to hardgroove, acid, and hypnotic textures layered with spoken poetry and raw recordings from nature, Venus creates sets that are not just listened to, but experienced. For her, techno is more than music: it is a ritual, a path to oneself, an awakening of the primal instinct.
Her love for music is rooted in spirituality. She aims to create a community where ravers and artists are free to be themselves, encouraging self-expression that goes beyond stereotypical ways of making art.
This deep passion for rave culture and the raw energy of sound led to the founding of rit.ual (formerly BWLIH) an independent label that functions as a platform for inclusion, artistic freedom, and unconditional love for music. Through organized raves and the artists she supports, Venus creates a safe, inclusive, and authentic space where dance becomes a form of protest and music, a statement of identity.
