Juni H toch R is the creative force behind afterevents [::after] and DJ resident; her taste in music tells a distinct story. Highlighting melancholic, dreamy synths, she's smooth, intense, and warm, then she loses herself while mixing, opening new portals to aggressive, high-energy sounds and dramatic basslines. Her unpredictable mixing traverses a vast sonic spectrum, leaving no emotion unexplored.

Her ability to read the space and enhance the artistic experience makes her an ideal partner for cultural events, exhibitions, and electronic music parties, and she is often invited to create the soundscape in spaces dedicated to art and community dialogue, such as Indecis Artist Run, the Gallery of the Projects Center in Timișoara, and other events with artistic and experimental components.

The niche parties where she participates as a resident and organizer focus on “the feeling” and have shaped a presence associated with contexts that value sound quality. Thus, she has contributed to the development of a distinctive entity in electronic music, such as ::after events, focused on educating a new audience.

Her presence at Black Rhino Radio, one of the most important radio platforms dedicated to alternative culture in Romania, confirms her coherence and ability to navigate complex musical genres.

As part of a continuously evolving journey, her activity also includes music production, with her own releases and appearances on labels such as Psihodrom, including the track “Exponential Ages,” a dream-like sonic journey built around the legendary voice of Jim Morrison of The Doors. The fragment used in the track comes from a 1969 interview in which Morrison spoke about the future of music and imagined a time when a single artist, surrounded by synths and electronic machines, could create complete sound universes. This idea anticipates today’s electronic music scene.
