The first two days of the Timișoara City Celebration event brought over 45,000 participants to the heart of the city, Civic Park, I.C. Brătianu Park and Boulevard, as well as over 35 other locations throughout the city, attracting over 45,000 participants and offering a marathon of emotions, music, and moments that will remain etched in the city's memory.

On August 1, Dincolo de Ziduri and VAMA opened the series of concerts on the main stage on I.C. Brătianu Boulevard, and James Bay, with a rock concert performed for the first time in Timișoara, in front of over 15,000 spectators, hypnotized the audience. The boulevard vibrated to the unmistakable rhythms of the British artist, who delivered a powerful and emotionally charged rock concert. The excitement, the choruses sung in unison, and the electrifying atmosphere marked the perfect start to this celebration of the city.

The apogee was reached on the evening of August 2, when MIKA gave a memorable concert that brought together over 25,000 Timișoara residents and tourists on I.C. Brătianu Boulevard. In an unexpected gesture that took the entire audience by surprise and created a wave of intense emotion, the artist stepped off the stage and continued the show right on the boulevard, in the middle of the audience, transforming I.C. Brătianu Boulevard into the largest dance floor in Timișoara. It was an authentic and emotional moment, in which Timișoara became one voice. A spectacular concert that everyone who experienced this unique event, tourists and locals alike, will surely remember forever.

"I wanted to walk to the end of the boulevard, but there are so many of you here tonight that it was impossible for me to get there," said MIKA after returning from the boulevard, from among tens of thousands of spectators, back to the stage. "I want you to know that those of us on stage have the most beautiful view in Romania right now. You are the most beautiful audience I have seen this summer!"
