On August 2, we are waiting for you in a place with a strong symbolic charge - the Știința Stadium - for a special outdoor screening of the documentary The Eagles of Țaga. The event marks the preview of Timișoara Football Film Festival (TMFF), the first festival in Romania to explore the relationship between football, community and local identity.
The film captures, with humor and emotion, the life of a lower league team and the deep connection between the people, the village and the pitch. It is a story about passion, loss, continuity - about what makes us care about a place and a team. It's a story in which many of us will recognize the spirit of Politehnicii Timisoara.
The screening is organized by the Druckeria Association, in partnership with Politehnica University Timișoara and TVR Timișoara, and is part of the City Celebration 2025 program. Admission is free.
