Narratives of Hope is the first community debate of the Sunlight Over Borders project. Focusing on stories of resilience and rebuilding, the initiative aims to develop a safe space for dialog and collaboration, and encourages the widest possible community involvement.

Conceived as a co-production in the field of performing arts, Sunlight Over Borders is built on the principle of the encounter of theater practices from Romania and Ukraine. The initiative promotes collaboration to explore the impact of war on communities and our common future. Through performance art it creates a context for reflection on current themes of war and resilience.

Proposed topics:

  • Narratives of resilience and hope: personal stories of survival and rebuilding;
  • Community education and engagement: community theater projects that promote local participation and the sharing of stories and experiences;

Sign up and be part of a shared process of reflection and support!

The project Sunlight Over Borders is implemented by Artmedia Cultural Foundation and FAINA UA with the support of IZOLYATSIA Foundation, Trans Europe Halles and Malý Berlín and co-funded by the program ZMINA: Rebuilding, created with the support of the European Union in the framework of a dedicated call for proposals in support of Ukrainian displaced persons and the cultural and creative sectors in Ukraine.
