On Timișoara City Celebration, the Bega River becomes the starting point for two guided tours offering a different perspective on the city's history. Participation is free of charge, subject to prior registration, and the tours will be available in both Romanian and Hungarian.

Travelling by vaporetto along the Water Palace – Water Treatment Plant – Water Palace route, participants will discover the history of the Bega Canal, stories about the Fabric neighbourhood, the former Flora Restaurant and its role during the 1989 Revolution, the legacy of architect László Székely, as well as other people and places that have shaped Timișoara's identity.

The experience concludes with a quiz inspired by the stories shared during the tour, and participants will have the chance to win small prizes branded with the project's visual identity.
