Marija Šerifović is one of the most acclaimed and influential artists in Southeast Europe, known for her powerful voice, emotionally charged performances, and ability to connect authentically with her audience.
Born in Kragujevac, Serbia, into a family of musicians, Marija began her career in the late 1990s and quickly established herself as one of the most important voices on the pop scene in the former Yugoslavia. Her albums and concerts have made her one of the most beloved artists in the Balkans.
Her international breakthrough came in 2007, when she represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Molitva.” Her exceptional performance secured her victory in the competition and gave Serbia its first—and, to date, only—Eurovision trophy in its history.
Throughout her career, Marija Šerifović has released numerous hits, embarked on highly successful tours, and become one of the most respected figures in the region’s music industry. Between 2015 and 2025, she served as a mentor and judge on the talent show “Zvezde Granda,” helping to shape a new generation of artists.
