Games and fun have no generational barriers, and when kids and seniors end up in the same playground, even the most serious strategies are all smiles.

The Generations at Play event promotes intergenerational fun and collaboration through chess, backgammon and card sessions. Seniors and juniors play together, learning from each other and developing social and cognitive skills. All competitions are friendly and encourage team spirit and mutual respect, and facilitators ensure a friendly and inclusive environment where all participants have fun and connect.

This activity strengthens intergenerational bonds while promoting strategic skills and critical thinking in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

The action is part of FIG - InterGenerational Festival which promotes intergenerational collaboration and cultural exchange, strengthening solidarity and social inclusion in Timisoara.
