In a large-scale joint effort, the Centre for Projects of the Municipality of Timisoara and the House of Culture of the Municipality of Timisoara are organizing, this year, in partnership, the event dedicated to the celebration of the city. The "City Celebration" - an event-platform with an original format, a legacy of the Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture program - and "Timisoara's Day" - an event with a tradition of over 25 years - will take place this year between August 1-3, 2025, under a common name: "Timisoara's Day | Timisoara City Celebration". This year's edition is built around the theme "Together" and the message addressed to the whole community: " We celebrate the city together".
"Our goal is to have a great celebration of the city, which brings together people of all ages from Timișoara, but also people from other parts of the country or from abroad, who discover here a lively, creative, open city. This year's theme is Together. In an increasingly fragmented world, we choose to build bridges. I am confident that this collaboration between the Centre for Projects and the House of Culture will carry forward the spirit of the Cultural Capital: when we work together, Timisoara can only benefit."

"Timisoara's Day | Timisoara City Celebration" continues and expands the concept of a platform dedicated to the promotion of the city's major festivals and event organizers in the West of the country, developed by the Centre for Project in 2023 and 2024, while carrying on the tradition of celebrating Timisoara's Day for over 25 years.
Timișoara Jazz Festival, Time to Rock - FITT, Jazz Updates, Simultan, La un moment dat în parc, Embargo Fest, Strada fără Nume, Muzicon & Women in Music România, Flight Festival and Codru Festival are the first ten major events of the Timisoara music scene that come together with the Centre for Projects and the House of Culture, and that, together, will complete the program of this year's edition with a series of concerts and unique experiences. Dozens of other organizations from Timisoara and beyond will contribute to the "Timisoara's Day | Timisoara City Celebration" program.
"Through this collaborative format dedicated to the community we manage to keep alive and carry forward the spirit of Timisoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture. We look forward to bringing together some of Timisoara's most important festivals and organizations, harnessing local creative energy and offering the public a vibrant programme that celebrates the city in all its forms of expression."

The event will take place in the heart of the city, in the Civic Park, I.C. Brătianu Park and Boulevard - the main venues. More than 50 other venues in Timișoara will host a variety of activities for all ages and audiences: concerts, theater performances, guided tours, film screenings, workshops and other cultural and community experiences. Admission to all program events will be free of charge. The full program will be published soon.
"Two cultural institutions are working side by side, together with numerous partners from the public and private sector, to offer the people of Timișoara a unique event, built around the idea of belonging to a community and the importance of "together". Timișoara City Celebration is, therefore, not only a traditional celebration, but also an opportunity to find each other in the heart of the city, to be close to each other through culture. Let us not forget that joy comes from being together."
More than a celebration, this event becomes an opportunity to rediscover the city, to affirm our belonging to the community and to strengthen the dialog between generations. With a program designed to highlight the cultural diversity and energy of the city, "Timisoara's Day" (RO) | "Timisoara City Celebration" (EN) also becomes a point of attraction not only for Timisoara's inhabitants, but also for tourists. With its varied program, the event contributes to strengthening Timisoara's image as a creative city and cultural destination in the region during the summer.
Event funded by the Municipality of Timisoara, coordinated and co-organized by the Centre for Projects and the House of Culture.
