We invite you to take part in a guided tour that will take you through the religious and civic history of Timișoara, exploring the Catholic and Reformed churches in the heart of the city.
We start from the imposing Catholic Dome in Unirii Square, then continue our route through two places steeped in history: St. Catherine's Church and the Church of the Piarist complex, each with its own atmosphere and history. We then cross Opera Square, where we stop to recall the key moments of the 1989 Revolution - the place where the city's voice became a cry for freedom.
The tour ends symbolically in Maria Square at the Reformed Church, the place where the flame of revolution was lit. You will have the opportunity to visit inside the church and learn more about its role in Timișoara's recent history.
