Owls are bringing the magic of books to the community! At the "Timisoara Day | Timisoara City Celebration" event, the team of the Cultural Association La Două Bufnițe is proud to announce 6 interactive workshops for children and teenagers - from creative writing and mythology, to fantasy stories, literary explorations, backstage of books and musical events dedicated to rock legends. We bring with us books, imagination and laughter, because stories never stop as long as there are people listening! Maximum number of participants/workshop: 20 children

About the trainers 

Alexandru Higyed - a graduate of the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology in Timisoara, specializing in Romanian-English, is a multifunctional personality in the contemporary cultural landscape. With an MA in American Studies and a PhD in Perfomance Poetry Higyed combines a passion for literature, performance and cultural coordination. Bookseller at Bufnițe since 2019

Gabriela Muntean - graduated from the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology in Timisoara, with a master's degree in American Studies. Passionate about fantasy literature, gabi likes to show children how fantasy literature can color their imagination. Bookseller at Owls since 2023. 

Oana Doboși - graduate of the Faculty of Letters in Timisoara, UVT, specializing in French-Romanian, with a master's degree in Publishing Policies at Universite Paris XIII, with over 10 years of experience in cultural and editorial management, co-founder and managing partner of the independent bookshop La Două Bufnițe. She was the editorial coordinator of the exhibition catalogs Victor Brauner: Inventions and Magic and Brâncuși: Romanian Sources and Universal Perspectives, published by the Art Encounters Foundation. When she's not at the bookstore she enjoys traveling, throwing parties with many, many friends and ballet. When she reads she likes to be alone, by herself.

Raluca Selejan - is a graduate of the Faculty of Letters in Timisoara, specializing in Romanian-English and of the Master's degree in Cultural Resources Management and has 10 years of experience in communication and cultural events organization. She is the managing partner of the independent bookstore La Două Bufnițe. Passionate about books and reading, that is an Owl by profession, she loves art and music (especially rock) and most of all, after reading and reading, she loves going to concerts.
