For the first time outside Bucharest, Women in Music Romania arrives in Timisoara, in partnership with Muzicon, bringing a well-thought-out and well-balanced program of live music and essential dialogues about the future of the music industry. During two days, August 2 and 3, the public is invited to a vibrant mix of live concerts and relevant panels dedicated to the creative industries.
On August 2, Andra Adriuca and The Strizzers take to the stage, followed by two key discussions: on transforming forgotten spaces into cultural scenes (moderated by Anderka Iancea, with speakers Andreea Jäger Tako - Plai Cultural Center, Bogdan Cotirta and Bogdan Crișan) and on sustainability in music (moderated by Carina Sava, with the participation of Carina Dumitru - Phaser, Ramona Laczko David - Project Center and Iulia Pop - Overground Music).
On August 3, the sensitive and powerful voices of Ilinca and Mădălina Pavăl will be heard by all, and the discussions continue with a panel on storytelling in the music industry, moderated by Roxana Morun (TVR), with Corina Vilcu (Global Records), Dorina Constantin (manager Dmitri's Bats) and Ilinca. The evening ends with a debate on the challenges of the independent scene, moderated by Oltea Zambori, with interventions from Delia Luchian, Victor Balaniuc (Codru Festival), Carina Dumitru - Phaser and Vlad Garboni (Flight Festival). The evenings culminate with LIVE DJ sets by Mini Zucchini and _Border. A robust, relevant and visionary program that brings together the voices and perspectives shaping the future of music in Romania.
