Contrasens Film Club proposes a special screening of short films made by students within the international program Le cinéma, cent ans de jeunesse - an educational initiative with over three decades of tradition, which opens the doors to the world of cinema for children and teenagers (6-18 years).

Between October 2024 and June 2025, 16 students from Timișoara took part in this unique program, where they experienced film not only as spectators but also as creators. In the end, they made a 10-minute short film together - an original story born out of their ideas, emotions and collaboration.

From July 3 to 6, young people from all over the world - from Argentina to Japan, from Mexico to Lithuania - met in Paris to watch and discuss these films. Now we have the chance to see a selection of them here in Timisoara in the presence of the local team.

The screening ends with an informal discussion with the Timisoara students who created the movie "1 2 3 4". A perfect moment to discover what it means to make a movie from a teenager's perspective and how a story is born when we tell it together.
