Born in Timișoara, IST (Istrate Sebastian) is a DJ and producer known in the EDM scene for his energetic sets.

His career started in 2018 with an important collaboration with ESD, and in June 2019 he started mixing at private events. His big stage debut was at Magnetic Festival in 2019, followed by an appearance at Flight Festival in August. The year 2021 was pivotal for IST, with the release of the EP "PARADOX" and some notable singles. He won an OWPN Academy competition, performing on the "TRAM Stage" at the "Untold Festival". In 2022, he continued to impress at major festivals, and in 2023 he captivated audiences at festivals such as Untold and Magnetic. In 2024, IST switched to the drum and bass style, exploring new sounds and rhythms.
