Grab 3 more friends and come play basketball on August 17 and 18 as part of City Celebration. The Uszoda (Central Park) and Vasile Pârvan Boulevard courts will host the 3X3 Basketball Tour. The event is organized for the second consecutive year by the Timișoara Centre for Projects, in partnership with Podium Point.

Those wishing to compete in the tournament could register for free on the FIBA 3x3 platform, until August 9, for the categories: U10 (ages 8 to 10) , U12 (ages 10 to 12), U14 (ages 12 to 14), U16 (ages 14 to 16), U18 (ages 16 to 18) and OPEN (ages 18 to 45). There will be 8 teams in each category, and all 6 categories can be made up entirely of people of the same gender or can be mixed. 

Participants will receive a participation kit: bag, undershirt, hydration drinks, protein bars, and at the end of the competition the winners will be awarded a prize. Medical assistance will be available throughout the event.

Last year, the first edition of the championship was organized as part of the "City Celebration" event. In June, a warm-up of this championship took place on the new basketball court on Vasile Pârvan Boulevard. 45 teams played basketball for the first time on the new basketball court in the city center.
