On the basketball courts of Vasile Pârvan Boulevard and Uszoda area, 53 teams will play basketball. On the basketball court on Boulevard Pârvan will play categories: U16, U18 and Open (18-35 years), and at Uszoda: U10, U12, U14. Match schedule:

Bring 3 more friends and come play basketball on August 17th and 18th as part of the "City Celebration" event. The Uszoda (Central Park) and Vasile Pârvan Boulevard courts will host the 3X3 Basketball Tour. The event is organized for the second consecutive year by the Center for Projects of the Municipality of Timisoara, in partnership with Podium Point.
Those who wish to compete in the tour are asked to register on the FIBA 3x3 platform for the categories: U10 (between 8 and 10 years old) , U12 (between 10 and 12 years old), U14 (between 12 and 14 years old), U16 (between 14 and 16 years old), U18 (between 16 and 18 years old) and OPEN (between 18 and 45 years old). All 6 categories can be made up entirely of people of the same gender or can be mixed. There will be 8 teams in each category.
The deadline for registration is August 9 or until places are filled. Participation is free of charge. Underage competitors will only be allowed to participate with the written consent of their parents or legal guardians.
Participants will receive a participation kit: bag, undershirt, hydration drinks, protein bars, and at the end of the competition the winners will be awarded prizes. Medical assistance will be provided throughout the event.
Last year, the first edition of the championship was organized as part of the "City Celebration" event. In June, a warm-up of this championship took place on the new basketball court on Vasile Pârvan Boulevard. 45 teams played basketball for the first time on the new basketball court in the city center.
Between August 16-18, the banks of the Bega Canal and Bulevardul I. C. Brătianu will host a variety of events, from concerts to sports and children's events. During the first edition of the event in 2023, more than 130 events were organized to liven up the city, the banks of the Bega Canal and 50 other locations in Timișoara.
